The freshman sensation, Jeremiah Smith, delivers a killing blow to the Notre Dame defense after catching a 56 yard pass from Will Howard in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter. Notre Dame looked to have the momentum, coming off a touchdown and 2-point conversion, they looked to make a quick stop to keep their hopes alive. All that work was set aside after this beauty was caught and taken to the 10-yard line to set up the Buckeyes last and game sealing field goal. Ohio State would go on to win the 2025 College Football Championship 34-23.
